Process and equipment approach
Tank volume alone does not establish suitability for a cargo or transport service. Frame dimensions, vessel design, materials, fittings, inspection and applicable approvals must be considered together. ISO tank-container suitability depends on the applicable design, testing and approval requirements.
Applications and product requirements
Tank-container enquiries must identify the cargo and intended transport service. An ISO freight tank container is a defined transport product with design and testing requirements; a custom storage tank of similar dimensions is not automatically an approved ISO container. ATTOMO’s actual manufacturing and approval scope must be established for each enquiry.
Equipment and operating approach
The design review considers the tank, frame, supports, filling and discharge arrangements, closures, protective devices and any insulation or heating. Cargo compatibility, filling limits, handling loads and transport mode affect the configuration. Previous-cargo and cleaning requirements can be important where contamination would make a container unsuitable.

Heating, cooling, pressure discharge and cleaning arrangements depend on the cargo and operating practice. Provide loading and unloading conditions, connection standards, residue limits and service locations. Manufacturing lead time and price depend on the agreed specification and approval route.

Does the name “ISO tanker” prove transport approval?
No. The actual design, tests and applicable approvals must be documented. Ask for the certificate scope and identity of the approved manufacturer or design holder.
Can the same container carry any chemical?
No. Cargo compatibility, lining or material, seals, cleaning and applicable transport conditions must be checked for each intended cargo.
What information is needed before a quotation?
